Sorry I haven't been on for a while. This is an update to an earlier post that I had made before the new year. I want to thank everyone who posted on my: "I wish I had a girlfriend" post. I appreciate it.
I have some great news! I met someone! Another trans-woman. As of jan 19th we have had our 4th date. We met on a transgender dating site. It was sheer happenstance that we met. I sent her a message in early dec, then ten days later she responded and things took off. A few weeks later we met for the first time for coffee on jan 29th which quickly became our first date. Coffee then out to eat.
We have so much in common and we live relatively close by. I live in south Minneapolis and she lives in St.Paul. At this time we are still in the dating stage but she alluded to the possibility that we could move into the beginning relationship stage sometime soon.
We really like each other and we like spending time with each other. We can spend hours just talking together. We have held hands on all four dates as well as a goodbye kiss on all four dates too. We have really great chemistry. We're the same age. She's two inches taller than me.
She is currently a pre-op and I am a non-op. We are both okay with this. So for all intents and purposes: I now finally have a girlfriend! Yay!
