DebbieJo

Hi all,

Just joined and thought it might be a good idea to introduce myself. I'm Debbie and I live just north of Nottingham in the UK. At the start of this year I decided that I was going to give living full time as Debbie another go as I tried 10 years ago with what can only be described as disastrous results. But that's all in the past now and I'm ready to do it right this time.

At the moment I'm just in the limbo stage where I am living in a female role at home but not at work, although my employer and everyone at the office knows of my plans and if everything works out ok and I feel ready I plan to be living full time in January 08, which may sound along way away but in reality is getting closer every day. It gives me time to get everything in place like buying a load of clothes, the obligatory 300 pairs of shoes, IPL and every possible treatment they do at the best beauty salon in Nottingham where I go.

For a living I play with computers and I'm the application support manager for a very popular archive database in the UK. I live alone but I'm not lonely and I'm just happy with the way life is going at the moment.

So, I'll say hello and I hope to join in and if I can help in anyway, just ask.

Oh yes, almost forgot, I have an online journal which can be found at http://www.rkdweb.co.uk/Debbie

Drop by and have a read if you need to go to sleep quickly!!!

All my love
Debbie

lol, well see I found this lil chick and then I kept finding her everywhere. So I started using her as my avis. Then one day I signed on and was reading here and Lucy had found one of my lil girlz and was using it and I kept reading her posts and thinking *I didn't write that*, lol it threw me off.
I dunno Jackie, they are all over. I have at least a hundred versions. I play like they are paper dollz, and I get to change my outfit a lot  :P

Hi everyone ;-)

Thanks for the warm welcome and I hope that I can be of some help while here.

Hi Lucy, Small word ;-) I was down in Birmingham last week at the main library installing some software.

Just reading through people's post on this forum I was struck by some of the differences that TS people face in the US to us in the UK. It seems that you have a big issues with the church and religious groups. But one thing that is common between both sides of the pond is the difficulties we all seem to have getting proper medical support.

I guess bigots are the same the world over ;-(

Well, I look forward to getting involved and I am sure we will all talk again

Love
Debbie

Welcome to Susan's, DebbieJo!

I'm in the US too and, being a bit of an Anglophile, love reading from my sisters in Mother England.  I'm pleased to make your acquaintance and I hope to read more from you real soon.

Hi Debbie,

Welcome to Susans. I like your website and my opinion is that you don't even need makeup. I like the way you're handling your self and you're transition.

Peace,

Rebecca
