Hello, I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but I have a few questions and was hoping to get them answered.

I have yet to see a gender therapist, though I really do want to (mostly to get acceptance for starting HRT >.>; but that aside...) I haven't been able to yet. I plan to look for one sometime soon (if anyone knows of any in California somewhere in the Santa Barbara county, it'd be great to know) but needed to find out a few things 1st...

My girlfriend lives in Canada and I plan on visiting her sometime a few months from now. If things continue to go well, we will probably consider immigration so I can move there. Now, what I need to know is...

1. Will any progress I make with my therapist, such as getting the letter I need to get started on HRT transfer over to there, or will I need to completely start from the beginning, find a new therapist, and then get a new letter?

2. Will starting HRT affect or be affected by immigration in any way? such as...will it make getting passed immigration any tougher? and If I begin living there before I've become a permanent resident, will I be able to continue getting what I need? or will I be stuck without it until then?

If my questions aren't clear, I apologize, I'll do my best to rephrase them if so.

Thank you all for any help received.

Sorry, just bumping this up a bit hoping it'll get some attention XD; Finding this stuff out on my own has been quite difficult.
