For haggis, I prefer AB's version:

For blood sausage, I prefer that other people eat it and that I don;t even have to look at it (my mom and dad used to love the German variety - BLECH!)

Lung or no lung, I'm not eating that!    And just for reference, I don't eat grits or squirrel either.

Emelye beat me to it.  I like AB's presentations.  We usually see haggis at the Celtic festivals around here, along with the b->-bleeped-<-ipes and caber tosses.  This stuff was imported from Scotland for those events.  No thank you.

You know what's really good with Haggis? Black Pudding. It's made with congealed pig blood!

Good reason to convert to Kosher Judaism as far as I'm concerned! Yaaack, barf!

I don't get it. People love Italian sausage, bratwurst, kielbasa, haggis is just Scottish sausage, isn't it? I mean, you never know what's in a sausage anyway! It's always a roll of the dice.

That's it though Devlin. A sausage with a good press agent.

The devil in me likes the idea that when I eat it, some people feel like barfing.

As for Black Pudding. How can anyone resist?

Couldn't be any worse than a fecal transplant to cure gastrointestinal disorder.  >:-)
