Sorry but I skipped a few posts so if my question is answered in an earlier one can someone let me know. I am interested in getting a corset but I am unsure where to start as in how do I know what size I should with the cost, style all of it I guess.

Any help?

Hi Emerald;

You need to get a corset one size minimum below your standard dress size. So mine is Size 18. I was a a 22 Dress size, but I have dropped a dress size to 20 following nearly  4.5 months HRT, so my deportment therapist recommended a size 18 corset (with tightening this can bring me down to a size 16 waist).

I am not there yet though.

I am unable to use a corset.  I have breathing problems and a corset just makes it worse.

Thanks Judith Lynn, unfortunately I do not know my dress size as yet.

EDIT: How do I work out my dress size so I can get a corset? I mainly wear t-shirts and pants at the moment as I am not quite at a stage where I feel comfortable enough to wear a dress/skirt(want to) also can't really do it very often, but I do want corsets to be a big part of my wardrobe :)
