just came out in school!!!

i emailed all of my professors, asking that they call me tim, and use male pronouns. i did it like 20 minutes ago (its 12 am) and, reasonably, no one has replied yet. but oh my gosh!!! i'm so nervous!!!!
some of them taught me last semester, and almost all of the students know me by my old "identity". i'm trying to figure out how to come out to the students. should i tell them all together?? should i tell them individually?? i guess we'll see what happens. school starts monday! WISH ME LUCK!

As a professor, but not likely one of yours , let me say congratulations. And I don't think I'm speaking too soon when I say that I bet they fully welcome your real self. Way to go. (P.S. I wasn't still up at midnight, but I was up preparing a lesson on Roman art at 5 a.m.)
