I totally heard the "Kiss 108 FM!" clip in my head when I saw your post.  I live in Western MA half the time so I'd say there's plenty of competition for "most boring" (although there is some pretty cool/weird stuff you wouldn't expect in some of those towns)...

Haha yeah, I personally disagree that my town is the most boring. I'm only 35 mins from Boston, 30 from Providence, and 20 from Worcester. Every year I drive to the Berkshires and we avoid highways and end up driving through some really, really boring towns. Last year we drove for 40 minutes without seeing a Dunkin Donuts!! What madness!!

I know, it's nice knowing there are more guys in NC (quite a lot actually) but then again it's sad because there aren't many resources unless you're near Asheville.

I know!! I actually live in Deland specifically so I'm closer to Daytona. Between the 2 cities, I found 3 therapists. Two are a complete joke and total ripoff. Fortunately I found Dr. Baker-Hargrove - he's very involved in the LGBT community here. The Centre and GIFT aren't that great either. I'm in their facebook group and there's a lot of drama... So I haven't felt comfortable going to any group meetings:(

I thought there were some resources around chapel hill or durham at one time. But then I've been out of touch with most anything trans that way in a while and then it was mostly about mtf that was my concern.

I went to Dr. Baker-Hardgrove for a session and ended up doing informed consent. I know there are Dr.s there for HRT, but are expensive without insurance.

I did a little geologic work with a prospector friend of mine years ago.  I was really impressed with the town of Goldfield, in Esmeralda County.  A hundred years ago, things is your area were hopping, with precious metals, particularly silver, gold, and copper.

true, I've actually gone up into the mountains near here and found around 12 or 15 old abandoned mines and know of at least 3 working mines that are close by all for silver and or gold

Oh man, I love western Mass and lived in the Berkshires for 10 years, that area is like a second home to me, but I totally know what you mean.   So much of western Worcester and Hamphire/Franklin counties are just woods and more woods.

That area is the best.  Hard tell where Dot ends and Southie begins around there, and I love the walk from JFK up to Castle Island.

I'm a lot south of that, in the Ashmont/Neponset area.
