That's right!  Anyone here into Second Life like I am?  If so, let me know so I can drop you my username!  It'd be fun to hang out and socialize, all that jazz!

I know Miya, I will definitely tell her!

And yeah, TRC is gone now I think.  The Transgender Lounge is still around but mostly vacant.

I just don't visit it that much lol
my current computer is too slow to operate it

if I had a great graphic card I would be addicted.

Nooo!

You totally need to snag a better card so you can invest endless hours into a social platform that does nothing for your life, haha.

I have absolutely no regrets about Second Life. It was fun... the memories. That was my social life from 16-18 yrs old.

What's sad is it is still my social life, since 2006.     :'(

My and my BF are very into SL. It's where we met and given we live 8 hours apart, we spend just about every night together hanging out there. I've been there since 2006 too or at least I think that's my birthday :P I rent a sim and run "skate and date".

I have Second Life on my computer. I just don't know my way around it.

My friend tried to make me play something like that, animotion? or something like that. We played for 4 hours and he constantly questioned why I was running around. My answer "why does a game with graphics as decent as this not have quests? His response. "quests" I shut the game off.

Aww... I used to go there, too. You know, they have changed location: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Serena%20Wyndham/38/13/22

I occasionally drop by, they're still around and doing events.

The avatar I use for visiting the TRC is "Sandra Fatale" (you may also search for "Sandra M. Lopes", it should point to the same avatar).

I tried to do that for like 5 minutes, but then got frustrated with the controls. I had no idea it had been around so long.

Oh yes! The open beta for Second Life began in 2002; regular service started in June 2003. It's now a decade old! But, wow, haven't things improved in the past decade... it's barely recognizable as the same platform.

So how did the controls frustrate you?
