Has anyone had the majority of their electrolysis done post-op?  I've heard from some electrologists that in their opinion it is much quicker to finish.

Did anyone do the majority of the work later rather than sooner and do you concur?

tks,
Suzie

I had about 2 years preop and 3 years postop.

The first 2 years were - for me - pretty worthless, but that might have been due to the first electrologist.

I did it during my pre-transition years.  Actually, that was the first step I took.  I just did not want to go fulltime with a 5'o clock shadow, so it became my first priority.

I completed electrolysis last July.  My intend was to finish it before gender reassignment.  Just a few more things to do on my face ;) and then I'll head up to the States for GRS sometime at the end of this year.
