I've done that.  I gave her two physical fliers, the book "True Selves", and even linked her to Susan's.  The book and fliers remained untouched for a week and they were only touched because I was sick of seeing them on the counter.  As far as I can tell she hasn't even looked at Susan's.

Tomorrow is a meeting so I'd like for her to go, but I doubt she will.  She is showing no inclination to get to know this aspect of my life more.  She loves to say "well, you didn't say you wanted to be a boy as a kid!" No sh*t.  I had over concerns like the fact I walked differently or if I got sick I could get sent to the hospital and possibly even die.  Sorry, but I had bigger worries than what was between my legs.

When I was 3 I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.  Throughout my childhood I would have flare-ups [later to be diagnosed with CIDP].  My immune system would essentially attack my nerves.  It attacked my lungs once and it could attack anything it wanted and we wouldn't know which.  I had to go to the hospital to get an IV-Ig to calm it down.  [Laymens terms. I'm not a doctor.]  If I didn't, there was the real possibility of paralysis for life or even death.
