So I'm a huge skeptic with stuff like this, or anything that could be considered phenomenon honestly. However, the last three people I have dated had the same signs and two of them had the same birthday which was really awkward actually. It's not like I'm actively looking to meet people with this sign, but it seems like people with that sign connect with me for some odd reason. I am a huge skeptic, and understand it is more than likely a coincidence, but I thought I would share my experience with it. I've also noticed a particular sign of people that I do not get along with AT ALL haha. So feel free to tell me your take on astrology, whether you think there is anything to it and why or why not. I thought this would be a more fun subject than the normal depressing ones I post ^_^

It's nothing in my eyes.   In college someone explained it all this way.

Our species still carries a set of genes that understands and connects seasons.  And when a child is born the baby in some ways feels the world it was born into by bonding and feeling those seasonal aspects of life.  Children of the spring are strongly driven towards a goal or some sort, and openly loving.  Summer children are more carefree, and willing to have relaxed funloving interludes in their free time.  In the fall children are more cautious and are often more prepared for life, and difficulties.  And then there are the winter children who in infancy learn the warmth of tenderness, sharing, and the bonds of family and love.

This is probably as silly as astrology, but I remembered it well.  It was the early 70's, we were sitting on a beach while smoking a ton of weed, and it made sense when our friend was rattling on.

I think it's a pile of horse manure.

Hey, may as well be honest, right?  ;D

Oh in concept I agree 100%, it's horse manure, I just thought it was really weird the coincidences. In my opinion, a chain of coincidences starts to look less like coincidences.

I have a love/hate relationship with it. Why oh why was I born a Virgo? Despite all the awful, debilitating traits associated with it like perfectionism and self-criticism, I just had to get the one constellation representing a woman! I swear, it's cosmic injustice.

I used to think it was horse manure as well. But I had the misfortune of seeing my whole chart and uh... it's at least 90% accurate. Even the bad stuff. 'Weak, lazy character'. Yep, that's me. I'm serious, the chart basically illustrates my life story.

And I know exactly what you're talking about. Virtually all the guys I've had anything significant with were born in February. I seem drawn to that month.

As humans, we're very much into the whole pattern thing. It's useful for our survival; if 9 out of 10 ppl die because they ingest a certain plant, it would be clever to stay away from it. However, recognizing patterns in our surroundings has a dark side called magical thinking, or superstition. If 9/10 times I find water using a dowsing rod, I'll conclude that it's a useful tool... but I'll be wrong.

Astrology has nothing truthful in it, it's all magical and wishful thinking.

See, you all say this and I got to ask, have you studied your chart? Because mine clearly delineates stuff I've been through, behaviors I exhibit, etc. Stuff that there is NO WAY is coincidence.
