I keep coming back to "Emily," but since it's the name of a girl I used to like it's gradually feeling more awkward the more real this trans thing feels.  I may change it if I think of something better (I'm a woman, I'm allowed to change my mind )

2. What is your quest?

To find the grail!  And also to become a geek girl

3. What is your favourite colour?

Blue!

4. What expression does that penguin have and why?

I'm not really sure... I was searching for a female Tux (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tux).  As for why... artist's interpretation?

I have no idea, I've never tried it.  Usually I get bagged frozen corn from the grocery store but on rare occasions I'll eat corn on the cob.

I use Archlinux for my day-to-day stuff.  My development work is usually done against a "changes for the next release" build, but since it's all experimental code I don't like to run it directly.  But that's why we have virtual machines

Anyway, what is your preferred language for coding?  I'm from the days of coal stoked mainframes and have written in just about every language from autocoder to perl.

What modules have you hacked?  Just for fun or are you trying to interface your stratocaster as a USB device?

I don't have any single favorite species.  The ones I've seen at the zoo are all cute!

Anyway, what is your preferred language for coding?

I do a lot of C, C++ and bash.  I used to love python, but I haven't had much of a reason to use it lately, besides as a scriptable calculator

What modules have you hacked?  Just for fun or are you trying to interface your stratocaster as a USB device?

I work on the Linux NFS client, but I've also done a little bit of work on the server side.  I'm a filesystems gal .

Any other interests besides hacking?

I wrote my own music player!  The program that I used to use got rewritten and the first few releases removed the features I used the most.  I was looking for my own side project at the time, so I decided "if you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself..."

Why didn't you answer these questions? 

I was around other people and posting from my phone.  I was excited to have an answer for the creamed corn question, but typing that out was frustratingly slow on the small screen.
