I would have to say, the things you mentioned do not define your gender. Nor do we on here. Your gender is what you feel inside. That is the beauty of it. You are whatever you want to be gender-wise and other.

And what is it proving? She's gotten completely contradictory feedback that I, at least, can do nothing with, except to observe that, especially with a non-random sample one will get a range of opinions.

She can take my advice or leave it, but it is my opinion that we only invite further discomfort when we allow others to  "vote" in these terms.  If I wanted a sense of how androgynous I was (or wasn't) I'd at least try to find a way to get a random sample from a  setting where there are no extra clues that I'm anything but female.

S/he can be whoever they want to be, I have absolutely no issue with it no matter what and I encourage them to do so. They clearly wanted us to answer whether they appeared male or female and I think it's okay to answer that truthfully. No matter what this poll says, I would hope s/he still strives to be who they are inside and out.

I wouldn't be able to tell your gender without knowing you. Gender is an internal state of mind, which people often express through clothing or mannerisms. Therefore I wouldn't be able to tell because I don't know whether how you present in your avatar is how you have presented since assigned a sex at birth, or since you have begun a transition to present as the other gender.

If you were to ask me what sex you appear to be. Based solely on appearance. I would guess that you were female, though I would say the picture wasn't very flattering due to the angle etc.

So in conclusion: Gender = Can't tell unless you tell me.
                          Sex      = Female / androgynous.
