Excuse me if this is a rookie mistake. Apparently it's common sense -- and in retrospect, I agree. In any case, I was taking my fourth shot of T today and I messed up or psyched out for the first attempt, which hasn't happened yet. It might have been because this was the first one on my own. Long story short, I ended up injecting the needle into my leg, then into the bottle again, and back into my leg.

Common sense says maybe this was a bad idea, but I was a little anxious.

My boyfriend is concerned that bacteria will start growing in the T, so we made a call to my doctor to find out. We had to leave a message, so I thought I'd ask you guys for some input in the mean time.  :-X

Oooookay, well, the doctor called back. In case anyone wanted to know what she said, basically the bottle is "contaminated" now-- which is kind of what we figured-- and I technically shouldn't continue using it. However, off the record, she said I could keep using it if I wanted to due to the cost, and to keep an eye out and make sure that the T didn't get cloudy.

I think that I would usually go for a new bottle, but I'm literally getting on a plane tomorrow to go down to Texas for a month. I don't have time to run up to the clinic and request a new prescription. I may have to use what I've got until I get back and hope for the best. :P

Hopefully nothing gets cloudy.
