About every other day, but I do not wash my hair unless I have put a lot of junk in it (hairspray, hair dye, etc.)  If you wash your hair to often, it will be come greasy looking and feeling.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Unfortunately, in my line of work, showers are needed nearly daily, weekends I'll shower Friday night, and won't again till Monday night...

Maybe I should have pointed out that I'm still really early, too?  I'm still chemically male for at least a little bit longer...
I honestly don't mind showering. It helps wake me up in the morning, and is part of my daily routine. I mean, I'm right with you about really hating my body, but at the end of the day, no matter where I look I'm always going to see it, so I might as well take care of it properly. Though, I do admit that I get lazy on the weekends usually, and usually skip showers then, unless I do a lot of activity. Nothing is grosser than being able to smell your own body odor.

Should I be concerned that it actually turns me on? I like man-stink, including my own...  :embarrassed:

Definitely take a shower regularly people. I can't tell you how many times my big ol sniffer has been assaulted by other people's body odor when they come into the store and they are right there across the counter from me. Some are so bad, I have to step back a little and try not to breath. And don't expect deodorant, cologne or perfume to mask it, it usually doesn't.

Well, I'll take a shower regularly. How does once a month, every month sound?  :P

You know what I mean, brat.   lol

as in every day unless you live in the Sahara or something, then just roll around in the sand until the smell is gone.

I wouldn't be. Everybody has their kinks, and what works for you may not work for me. Some folks are into BSDM, some like plain old vanilla sex. I've the opinion that, as long as everything is consensual, and no real damage is done, then get  your kink on.

For those of you that hate seeing your naked self,

Instead of skipping showers, and going out smelling bad..
why don't you just close the light?
Seriously.

Place your shampoo and soaps in line at the same spot in front of you,
and clean yourself. I recommend sitting at the bottom of the shower so you don't fall.
Also easier to find all your stuff. Have your towel right next to the shower as well.

Have a flashlight close by for an emergency, you're disoriented or when you're done and need to get out.
Bam! Problem solved.

My bathroom has a window right next to a street light.  :P

Put a dark cover over it?

Well, the window is actually in the shower, so it'll have to be waterproof.

I'm assuming like upwards and it has a little room to put shampoo and stuff? As long as you aren't flinging water all around and you put the cover firmly, I think it would work. I'm just trying to help, dysphoria is no fun =/

That occurs to my hair no matter how little you wash my hair. :P  I tried going every other day or even every three days for awhile when it came to washing my hair, but that never worked well because by the beginning of the second day my hair would look horrendous -- it's very greasy already and the only way to combat it is to wash it daily.  Otherwise...it looks like you dunked my head in a vat of grease.  But it runs in the family on my dad's side.  It greases up real quick, especially when conditioner is involved.

Anyway...

I shower every day.  Sometimes I'll go a day without showering, but overall I try to shower daily as I find that I just feel gross if I go without washing my body daily.  Plus...you know, bodies don't smell all that pleasant if you go too long without showering; I've never met anyone who smelled good upon the third day of not washing.

Kia Ora,

::) Only when it 'rains'  ...Besides, only 'dirty' people need to wash  ;)

Jokes aside...Once a day in the morning...Or occasionally if its been a humid day I might have a 'mandy' ie used in most hot Asian countries, a wash down use a bucket of water, very economical on water use but does the job...

I live on an island when most properties rely on rain water to fill their water tanks, and this summer has been the driest in thirty years, we haven't seen any rain worth writing home about  in months...So water is scarce, we have to ration our supply...However there are bore water companies on the island who sell tanker loads,  they're flat out and book up at lease a month...So in a sense the joke part could be serious, if we don't get rain soon...

BTW, too much washing/showering removes protective oils from the skin, so it pays not to shower too much and when you do you should use 'natural' soaps...

Oh, I don't mind seeing myself naked since I know it'll be changed eventually. I was just saying. :)

It's actually in the path of the shower flow. If you mean an inward indentation to hold miscellaneous objects, it's called a niche. Vocabulary word of the day. :)

I actually showered in the rain a few times.
