HRT Cost - Does this sound about right?

So, I emailed this informed consent clinic in New York called Community Kinship Life. I asked some basic information about getting started with HRT and they told me that the cost (without insurance) would be around $43 dollars for a vial, which is supposed to last from 4-5 months depending on a person's dosage.

Now, to me, this sounds great as far as price. But the amount bothers me. I thought it would be a lot more money. Does this sound correct based off of what others have researched or experienced? Also, what is the average dosage starting off?

Hi, we don't discuss dosages here, please review our TOS. Hugs, Devlyn

It's $24 a vial at callen lorde which can last anywhere between 5 months-1year depending on dose.

Whoops! Sorry, Devlyn. Will remember that.

@Nygeel, that's good to know. Thank you.

No problem. Their appointments are $20 with sliding scale and without insurance, too.

Callen Lorde sounds awesome! Looks like I chose right.

Oh yeah, if you don't have insurance, expect a long wait. Needless to say, it's an enticing option.

I didn't have much trouble in terms of waiting at Callen Lorde...it was maybe a month?

I just called them up today. The woman told me someone would contact me in a month. But I think I'd rather go there because at least I've heard a bit about it. I haven't heard anyone mention the Community Kinship place.
