Had my first trip into town yesterday went to a trans group was really good. Took me half an hour to find my voice but then got on great.

Went shopping in town too (window shopping though as skint). Was great a little self concious at first as ive only been out to my local tesco before. But after a short while i realized that nobody either noticed or cared. And neither did i. i even stopped worrying about my voice as much as i have been (i really dont have a feminine voice) didnt really bother me though. ;D

One thing though. I dont know about close up. but i nearly actually stopped traffic. Near were i live is an industrial area. So there are alot of men traveling about in cars. When i walk down the street in my heels i am over 6 foot tall and slim. one guy turned his head to stare at me and started to drift into the opposite lane. Lucky nothing was coming the other way.
Mountains can only be summounted by winding paths. And my path certainly has taken a few twists and turns.

...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...
