Transgender Steam Group?

Ok, I'm at work still writing a performance report. I hate being supervisor sometimes.  As soon as I get back ill check out the mod options to become more familiar with the duties and such.  Also, in my previous post, I hope it didn't come off top demanding/ rude, I had to press send before I could finish because I had unwanted eyes coming by... The reason for the request was because I was afraid that having the name Lazy Susans would still be easy for (the smarter folk) to see through. But I like the idea of keeping the name Susan in the name in a secret way, like we are being sneaky... Mwahahahahah

Naw. It's okay. We want to keep this as separate from Susan's as possible, since they requested that we try to keep it from being publicly affiliated with the forums. I just haven't had the time or energy to really think about renaming it (since it's been mostly inactive anyway.)

Okay. Don't kill me on this one but the only thing that popped into my head was 'Lazy Susans'
Because, well, we're on Susan's board and, let's face it folks, when we're playing around on Steam we're being lazy.

I'm keeping this group invite-only, so if you wish to join, please either post here or send me a PM with  your steam name so I can send you one. If we get enough people together I might start scheduling events and such.

I would love to have fellow trans gamers to play with, but as I am not fully "out" (just SOME close family & my stepdad pretty much doesn't care & my mom doesn't fully understand but is loving)publicly it is tricky for me to find a venue to interact and share in a gaming environment. The loneliness and dysphoria get me a lot of times, the dreams where I have to struggle in a near impossible quest to gain womanhood and then watch it crumble away before I wake up are more frequent. I often wake up crying, even moreso after I lost my cousin this year. I would love to join but I am scared, if there is a way to do it a bit more covertly I would love to. Would feel less alone!

That was kind of the idea of the group. Something that was invite-only and didn't advertise itself as a trans-group so it would provide a safe place for us to be ourselves. If you want to join, just PM me or KageNiko your screen name and we can add you.

Thank you so very much for the warm response! A lot of the gaming space today is a bit toxic, especially for women and LGBTQ folks. I frequent MMOs where I can choose my gender and not have to voice chat since using steam chat flags me right away as "you sound like a dude" or "why are you trying to imitate a chick?". I will send you a PM with my steam name soon. Thanks again for this opportunity, I hope to make lots of new friends.

I was a little hesitant at first too, I have people in my life that I dont want to talk to about "me", they already know but that conversation is unpleasant with them.  Pm us here, or send a frend request to me on steam, (would be easier)

I ~almost~ was able to send that invite... The invite button wont work on my phone so, I'll have to send it tomorrow. I can bypass the invite button by adding as a friend, and then it lets me select friends to invite with an alternative method. Anywhoo, gnight!
