I kinda lke them big :p

I hear ya though.. Good point..

I may be weird but I like the large size Suporn dilator better than the medium.. I guess I like a challenge..

Too bad the soulsource dilators are hard plastic.. Are they heavy? The glass ones are quite heavy but in the dilator box from Suporn is als a travel one. I wonder if the soulsource dilators are a bit like that. Advantage is that they can't break easily I guess. I bought an extra m and l from Suporn in case one breaks.. It can happen.

The smaller 2 (purple & blue) aren't really that heavy... the orange one is very heavy IMHO. You could smack someone on the head and cause a serious injury. It could double as a slap-jack if needed.  ;D

no kidding, im already looking at number 4 and i'm like uhh....  Ya know at first I was like those dont look so bad...  then I started dilating, and suddenly they look a lot scarier

This. It's the diameter. I mean I know they want to stretch the tissue and all, but even in all my years of HS/College sports, there just aren't many guys packing a cannon like that. My 2 cis-girlfriends thought the large orange dilator was a joke. They said the person making them must not date often.

Cool, I just found this thread!

I had my surgery on Dec 19, so it's been over 4 months and I'm still at #3. I tried #4 early on (about 8 weeks post-op) and found that it tore me up inside. I had lots of tearing here and there since then. One of the tears looks like a hole. I've had streaks of blood for several weeks now and a few hours ago I had... red blood. Ack. I checked it out again just now and it seems fine. I'm down to one dilation a day, but maybe I should move back up to 2 at some point because it still feels tight.

:o  that does not sound good kalina!, I would definate increase the dilations, I dont believe any surgeon wants you to just being doing 1 dilation a day at 4 month's, but I may be wrong.

Also since we are on the subject, I   have a question for everyone about dilating, what schedule has everyone been doing? I mean how many times daily, for how long, and with each dilator, and has anyone just stopped using a previous size?

I wonder how the orange one compares to Suporn's biggest dilator which they name Large and is 34mm. The orange one is 1 1/5 inch but and according to the conversion tool I used that should be 38mm. Can somebody confirm that? I was already thinking to start looking for a dilator that is thicker than Suporn's Large. I also wonder if the silicone feels more comfy than Suporn's glass dilators.. Most girls I spoke don't even use the L but because most guys I've been with including my current boyfriend has a penis that is similair or thicker to L it wouldn't be 'enough' for me to only use the M. I've also been with guys who were thicker than the L so I may want to buy that orange one.

Btw, what's with the g-spot corner in those dilators? The ones from Suporn are just straight. What's the idea behind the corner?
yeah the orange one is my fav one to play with, you will get there

I do 5 times per day... 30 minutes each. Up to the blue second largest dilator now at 7 weeks. Dr.McGinn has the most "aggressive" dilation schedule that I'm aware of... Fun times!!!

You guys are making me worried that I am not doing something right!!!  Dr. Bowers dilation kit and discharge instructions only go up to the 1 3/8ths inch dilator whom I have named Micky Mint.  At 15 weeks now, I am down to having a date with Micky twice a day for 15 minutes from touch the V to pull out time.  During the dilation, I am moving it in and out, and twisting it so the tip does a little bit of stretching, and more important, massaging the lining.  I know where my prostate gland is, and doing a tip massage and rotation at that spot is a lot of FUN!!  I keep my hips on a folded towel, and on insertion, raise my hips off the towel with my legs as I pass the dilator just inside the opening, this pulls the muscles in the vaginal floor out of the way until I am past the opening, and then the mild tightening when I put my hips back on the towel also gives a pleasant sensation.  I may give Dr. B's office a call tomorrow and ask why no Orange one!!  In the two followup calls I have had from her office though, I mentioned Micky and they never said a thing about anyone bigger.

I hate to say it, but a guy claiming a tool larger in diameter than 1.25, is either a dreamer or has a parasitic worm infection.  Look up filariasis.
I refuse to have a war of wits with a half armed opponent!!

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

Okay, so the bleeding is not crazy like it was yesterday at 5pm. It's the usual light amount that's mixed with the lube this morning. It looks like a piece of dead skin just came off in the area of the bleeding, like a bandaid coming off a wound.

I'm down to once a day according to Dr. Kathy Rumer's instructions. I'm supposed to do 4x a day for 3 weeks, 3x a day for 3 weeks, 2x a day for 3 weeks, and then 1x a day for 3 weeks. I was doing 3x and 2x a day for far longer than the recommended 3 weeks due to granulation tissue problems. She had to cauterize me on several of my office visits. I had to go into the office a lot more than the usual patient because I had necrosis... about half of my right labia died within 2 weeks post-op (she can repair this after a year, she says).

The one time a day I'm dilating (in the morning around 7am), it takes me about 15 minutes to get it all the way in and then I count 20 to 30 minutes from there. I would do it a second time each day but I felt that it wasn't a long enough time for my body to heal because I'm always bleeding (the usual light amount) every time during my twice a days. Only on a few occasions in recent memory has there been no blood.

I just wish my surgeon made the hole larger so I wouldn't have to experience the tears. It's not just uncomfortable, but kind of painful sometimes.

5x is crazy...is it 30 min counting from when you reached full depth? aasuming 1 hr per session and 7hrs sleep...that's like only a two hr rest between each session. and everyone survives that???

@cherrie tks for the tip on vibrators...i've not had a single remotely pleasant feeling down there since my surgery...

I have a post-op recovery blog now...yeah!

(I think one thing must depend on the person/surgeon - it takes me only a few seconds to reach "full depth." Maybe I'm just lucky? Nobody in the residence with me said differently, though; we all were having dilation sessions that lasted the recommended time [20 minutes, then] plus maybe 5 minutes for setup/cleanup. I have NO idea how someone manages 2-3 hour sessions multiple times a day!)

I'm down to once a day for one hour to a hour and a half if I want to do extra

I start timing as soon as the dilator goes in. I reach full depth pretty easy... I just push it in there. I know it can be more involved for others. Dr.McGinn knows her schedule is tough... But she really believes it is worth the results. I can't complain, except it does takeover your life to a large degree. You have plan everything around it. I have one more week at 5 times per day... then I can go down to 3 times per day. Thankfully!
