Some of my friends and my therapist have asked to hear Anna's voice, but I keep chickening out whenever I'm about to try.  How did the rest of you build yourself up for using your new voice?
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

I was really proud of my voice. I posted it on Susan's and it got trashed as sounding exactly like a man. I'm a lot more self-conscious now, even though I've worked on it a lot. In person, people say it sounds OK but I don't know. That's what they said the first time.

But in answer to your question, I couldn't very well keep silent, and using my voice was preferable to using a totally masculine voice while dressed as a woman, so I just went ahead and used it.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I just started using it. I can achieve pitches around 200hz pretty regularly, but it doesn't seem to clue anyone in.
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

I was never a dual voice person. There was never a switch. My one voice simply got more feminine over a year of constant use during transition.

Hi,

My voice changed to what it should be by its self, no hormones okay, being intersexed was what helped,  wether others accept this or not does not matter, my hormones worked very well with in my body. to get it right,

I am a singer have done for some 47 years,  i was baritone  well i sang it then ,  so my singing has allso changed i do saprono not the hgh notes & a little tenor i did try getting down to base well im struggeling.

Now dont get me wrong i did not try to change my voice yet it did change allso my mind  worked on it as well .

When im quite exited with my talking say to a lage group of people giveing a talk it will just go to where it should be  i dont think about it  or try.

I have the confidence in myself im comfortable in who i am & the selfasurance in doing what im about,  now remember im intersexed so female as well not compleat & really it does not matter,

any way take it for what its worth,   i was never male enough to stop my female side from working .
