Just Ole Me

I have a typical middle aged male hairline. Where my hairline used to be are all these little short white hairs. Anyone had regrow of this hairline hair from being on HRT?  Just wondering if the peach fuzz can regrow to normal hair when I start HRT. Anyone ad this happen?

Just trying to find comfort in this "shell" that doesn't fit.  But I am "remodeling" the shell finally!

My roommate is growing the widows peak on hers after 6 months of HRT. Not much else from what I've seen though. But she's only 25, so IDK if you could really draw a conclusion to yourself from that.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Yeah, I'm hoping (foolishly, most likely) that HRT will help with my thinning head of hair. I've shaved my head for so long, I have no idea how bad it's going to be now that I'm beginning to grow it out again. I'm crossing my fingers that genetics will be  kind to me and let me use my own hair, but, let's face it: I'm not holding my breath on this one. Still. One could do worse than having to wear wigs.

I had beginning male pattern baldness until my doctor put me on finasteride. I haven't seen much regrowth after nearly two years of it but it has stopped progressing and the rest of my hair is thicker.

Hi everyone;
Well i am definitly having hair re-growth on my male bald patch. Its been quite dramatic in the last month. I am only on my 3.5 months into HRT, but my doctor reckons s that my very low T levels (now under 6 and heading down with a target of just 2.5) have prompted the regrowth. Its not all over and loooks a bit strange, buut if this keeps up I might get my full head of hair back in a year. Also another thing thats happening is my pubic hair pattern seems to be changing.

I definitely noticed some regrowth from the barely peach fuzzy areas on either sides of my widows peak early on when I started HRT... And it has just been picking up more and more.. Now there are more new hairs and the first ones to regrow are getting much longer.

Whew... caught it JUST in time. MPB runs hot in my family. Wonder if I've had low T for a while? Oh well, it's definitely low now :D

Currently just on Estrogen & Progesterone, no AA or hair regrowth medications.

At 32 I had a small bald patch at the crown and the beginnings of a receding hair line,after 18 months of HRT the bald patch filled in and the receding hairline stopped receding further.

Try our Miracle baldness cure! All you have to do is become a girl!

All kidding aside, I've noticed this too. Tiny (1-2mm) white hairs all over the "M" hairline my father's genetics left me. I'm really hoping they grow out.

Also, I'm incredibly paranoid about my hair and worry myself sick over any days on which more hairs than normal come out in my brush. This despite the fact that my hair looks functionally the same as when I started finasteride five months ago.
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

So does finasteride and dustasteride help regrow hair loss around the widows peaks or does it just stop MPB? Does it help decrease body hair too?

I have some hair loss around the widows peaks but it's really that bad and has stopped so I was just wondering if taking fin or dust would help any. I gonna have FFS soon so I think having my hairline lowered would be enough but idk.
