What was your first clothing that you wore when you decided to go full-time?
When I went full-time, I had to do so before hormone replacement therapy to show my seriousness to my doctor. So four months before I took my hormones, I bought some clothes.
I took a breath, and wore a sari to temple. As a Krishna devotee, my faith is important to me, and going right into a conservative place wearing something that would have been 'cross-dressing' back then may have not been the best idea.
Still, it was bloody well worth it!
My very first piece of clothing was a sari, and I still keep it as a testament to my earlier transitioning period.
