Once the pain starts, about when does it start to diminish or go away? After 6 months? 1 yr? Does it ever go away enough to the point I can lay on my stomach again withough discomfort?

I am 9 months in, and it is still as strong as ever. I have a few cis female friends who still can't sleep on their stomach and they are in their 30s. I think it is just something some of us will have to get used to.

Okay. Not to completely derail the thread, but after starting HRT, have you noticed that your sleeping positions changed any? Right now I simply cannot fall asleep while I'm on my back. I have to be on my side, or, more likely, on my tummy to be able to go to sleep. What have been your experiences with this?

Do to a bad back, I am not able to sleep on my back. However, I absolutely cannot sleep on my tummy. My chest is so sensitive that if I roll over onto my chest during the night it wakes me up. So, I guess my sleeping patterns have not changed.

(talking about my chest made it so the thread was not derailed :P)

The shrieking nipple pain went away about 4 months in for me. Now they only hurt when they're growing. I slept on my stomach before and I still sleep on my stomach today, even though I can wear either a B cup, or a C cup... unless they're growing of course!!!
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Mine have hurt almost non stop since the end of my 3rd week.
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

I always used to sleep on my back and wake up either on my back or my side, so my sleep patterns haven't changed. Before I used to like laying on my stomach, just for a different feeling in the head.

I feel like I want a massage chair, with the face hole and I suppose 2 more holes about where the nipples are.

I forgot to mention that after the initial shrieking pain, there was a dull ache that didn't stop until about month 8 or so... after that it was off and on depending on if they wanted to have a growth spurt or not :)
