Does anyone know if you have to stop T for top surgery/breast reduction? Or while you are recovering can begin T for the first time? I've read that some surgeons make guys stop taking it a week before surgery. My surgeon told me not to smoke for 3 weeks before surgery because it effects healing. I had only had a few puffs and she still said 3 weeks. So I'm wondering about the effects of T and recovery.  Can start T after my surgery while i'm still recovering?

Just like you have read, it depends on the surgeon. Mine never once said I needed to stop taking T and I even asked since I wondered after seeing other people had to. Just ask your surgeon.
