What's the cost of SRS if I go private

I'm having my Gender Reassigment on the NHS, I was hit by redundancy last year so can't afford electrolysis & the NHS have turned down the request for this to be funded on the NHS today.
I can't shave properly due to severe excema & I can only use make-up for a few days at a time & even then only for short periods so having facial hair removed has become more of an issue than SRS for me, also the GIC has said I need to be full time by my next appointment before I start HRT.
I had an appointment 2yrs ago about private laser treatment & they wouldn't consider it due to my skin, I saw the only electrolysis practitioner in my area of the country registered with the institute of electrolysis (or whatever the group was called), she advised me to wait until I start HRT to reduce the amount of treatment needed & therefore reduce the chance of it making my skin worse, this is why i've waited to start this.

I have a right to appeal this decision & am seriously considering telling the NHS that I will waive my right to SRS on the NHS if funding for electrolysis will be granted to allow my transition to continue.
I don't care if I have to have this deformity between my legs for several more years if it means that I get to pass as female, no-one will know what abnormal growth I have down there but everyone knows what is written all over my face.

If I had SRS done privately either in the UK or abroad then how much would it cost me?
If anyone has an answer then please let me know as i'm desperate for a way to move forward with my transition

Thanks for the reply Tristan, that would work out about £4500. I was told electrolysis would probably cost me around £3000 due to not being able to have laser so it wouldn't cost much more to take this route.
I don't know if the NHS would go for this trade off but i'm desperate enough to try, at least if I could pass as female then I could start HRT but my deadline for going full time is late June.
The NHS aren't supposed to have going full time as a requirement for HRT but rules are just ink on a page, they mean nothing in reality.

Right now it's hard enough to get a job in the UK but i've changed my name by deed poll so couldn't even hide the fact that i'm transitioning at job interviews, there's an average of 300 people for every job in this part of the country & no employer would consider hiring me knowing that i'd need time off for medical procedures when there are so many others to choose from, no prospective employer would have to know that i hadn't had SRS if I was on HRT & passing.

The sooner I get electrolysis & start HRT the sooner I stand a chance of getting a job to save for going private, the longest i've ever been out of work is 1yr & after 6 months of unemployment i'm bored & itching to start earning money again, when viewed in this light it would be worthwhile having to wait a few more years for SRS & passing would mean more to my mental wellbeing than SRS.
