Hello from Lithuania

Hello everyone. I'm coming to a realisation that I am a woman. I just don't feel like a man. I am very sensitive, not the one to start fighting and I've been thinking whole year if I am transsexual. Last year the thought came into my head that I somehow always wanted to be a woman(I like playing them). That's when the nightmare began. My psychiatrist told me that it was just OCD. I do have it though, but now I think I haven't been fully honest with her. I spent whole year trying to convince myself that I am a man and there was always doubts. Now I came to conclusion that I'm transsexual and I wpuld like to transition in the future. The only reason I didn't want to transition was because of my family and society. There isn't much talk about transgender people here in Lithuania, that's why I come here to find people I can relate to. I can't transition yet as I still live with my parents(i'm 19 btw) and they are very conservative. Life is torture for me these days especially when I feel symptoms like coldness on my back and I have a worry that I can't explain. Sometimes I just start to do my rituals or just lie in bed so that it would be easier to survive. I want to believe that everything is going to be alright. I want support from you. There are no laws in Lithuania regarding transsexuals nor specialists who can safely help to go through transition. So it's going to be a really hard way. But it will be easier for me as long as I'm not alone.

Been at Lithuania several times. Very beautiful country. Kaunas, Vilnus, Klaipeda and above all, Curonian lagoon!

I've read about the situation in Lithuania in regards of TS. It doesn't seem that good

However, you have Estonia quite close by, where you can get help as well as Poland.
