Hello there! The name I'd prefer to go by is Zoe; I'm 21 years old and from the US. 
I'm simply like everyone else: a person trying to figure out her place in this world (cheesy, ain't it? )

I first came out to my now best friend at age 17, and she encouraged me to come out to my mom about a year later, after high school graduation.

If I tried to neatly fit into a category, I'd say I'm a transgender woman.  I haven't really had access to too many resources for people like me (small town, close-minded people, etc.), and I stumbled on this site looking for information and an answer to so many questions, especially after having many doubts about my gender identity, although it did take me some time to register.
