Today the receptionist at one of my part-time jobs said to me: "Wow. You look particularly clean-shaven today." I told her I shaved this morning and she was like "Well, keep that razor!" Thanks, lasers! I'm still presenting as a guy, but I wonder how long it is until people start noticing other changes besides my diminishing beard shadow... This pic is from earlier today...

That's after one laser session on my face, which happened about two weeks ago. I'm really encouraged by the early results...

I think it's more than just the laser. Your skin is looking particularly clean and smooth and ...... feminine

You are looking good Johnnie.

I find that people who have not seen me for a while really notice the changes much more than the people who see me every day.

You hang in there. People will start noticing the other changes as well.

Thanks! I am excited about the changes, but also a bit nervous bc I'm close to entering the "still in boy mode but starting to look odd" phase of my transition...

No need to be nervous! Just be yourself. It worked for me. (Plus the fact that I'm thick-skinned and could'nt really care two hoots about what other people have to say.)

That's awesome, Maegan! Sadly, I'm NOT thick-skinned. I've always been a very sensitive person...

Its not all that bad yeah people will stare at you give funny looks but that's all. In a way it can be somewhat fun the looks I get sometimes actually make me want to laugh. I was at church on Sunday and lets just say I only had one person with enough courage to say hi to me. I did get a lot of stares though. But that's all it is really just stares which is kind of disappointing considering how much of my life was spent worrying about what other people thought. So Don't worry about what other people are thinking about you. Worry about what you think of yourself.

How long have you been on hormones now Johnnie? Have you begun to develop breasts?

The reason I ask is because I might be on hormones soon... and I'm curious how long I might have before people begin wondering what is up.  Although I imagine hormones effects us all differently so there may be no way to know.

Katrina,
I've been on Spiro for 7 months, Estrofem for 6 months, and Progesterone for 4 months. I already have B-cup breasts that don't look at all like "man boobs" anymore. They are getting bigger and rounder all the time (and my nipples are growing too), and I'm developing a more girlish-looking ass and hips too. It's pretty amazing! :)

Awwww! Thanks ddone and Bethany! :)

Today I was at the grocery store, and one of the clerks, only half-paying-attention, said "maam... I mean sir... Can I take your cart?" I was in full boy mode, but I think with him not really paying attention my body shape threw him off for an instant... Not a bad sign!

Here's me today... I like lots of sports teams, obviously.
