Vaginal prolapse
March 16, 2013, 03:02:39 AM
Hello, has anyone here experienced vaginal prolapse? How was it treated?
PS....can anyone explain me how Dr. Chettawut and Dr. Suporn 'fix' the vagina, especially the urethral part?

Apparently I may have partial prolapse. I have a large chunk of 'skin' that hangs out and gets in the way.
It's always been there and only now am I looking into having it fixed
Why do you ask?

I am considering a surgeon who uses sacrospinous ligament fixation technique which is believed to be better to prevent vaginal prolapse. The risk of vaginal prolapse exists with all techniques but I was wondering if it is easier to fix in cases where the initial fixation (at the time of SRS) was done by sacrospinous ligament fixation as compared to 'scar tissue' fixation Thai doctors (couldn't find much information on their fixation technique) seem to use...
May I know who your surgeon was?

Interesting. Never heard of it.
My surgeon was Dr Walker in New Zealand. Colon vaginoplasty.
