A nice story happened to me today: I met a very close relative on the street - my step-mother of my gone father. We didn't see each other since last summer and were just talking on the phone a couple of times (when I told her about my transition).
So, I called her on the street while she was passing by. She looked at me, not recognizing. After a while she recognized, hugged me and took to her place for lunch. We spent an hour together, talking and sharing the news. She was completely amazed at my change. At the end she said: "Now I really understand why you have started the transition – you are a girl all over: the appearance, manners, and gestures. You'd better be born a girl from the start, but even now you look feminine and cute enough. You are a live copy of your mother. I would never recognized that girl calling me on the street!".
