Don't want to wear a suit

I am facing a dilemma again about what to wear for a wedding.  It is my cousin's wedding and I am expected to wear a suit, however I don't feel that a suit really suits me.

I read somewhere that someone in my town who is transsexual had to wear a suit but she tailored a feminine suit.  I am not sure if I am comfortable with that either.

What is something that I can wear that is comfortable and still satisfies society's choice of a suit.  I am male bodied but identify as non-binary.

I was thinking of a large green velvet bow-tie and a nice flower arrangement on the collar.  If I am brave enough I would add a brooch but I am living in a conservative place so anything feminine will be rejected.

In an ideal world I would love to wear something like in the link:

I love everything classical.

Thanks.  Any ideas?

All I can think of is 'steam punk' style as an alternative.
While the feminine styles are somewhat victorian like your reference pic, the mens style of suits, etc are pretty stylish in some cases. A mix and match approach might work with some of the more formal styles.
There are several online stores, a google search will find them.
Also use a google images to check out some ideas.

I have tried on quite a few suit coats and it is difficult to find ones that are off the rack with a more fitted cut and style that I like. But I have run across a few that while still retaining a masculine style, have a more feminine look and fit. And getting a style I like fitted the way I want is an exercise in futility with many tailors, unless they are very familiar with the needs and wants of *Trans customers.

The expectations that weddings can have, really sucks in terms of styles that you can wear.
Especially if it is clothes that you may not want to wear in otherwise.
It's a special day for the couple getting married and that should be respected.
But they do present a dilemma as to what you can and cannot wear.
Not much help  :-\

Thanks for the tip.  I really like the style. I have never heard of it before.  I really like the accessories that are added to the jackets.  I am thinking something along those lines.

Unfortunately the feminine fashion attracts me more  :'( but I think that I can pull something off.

Thanks

I have some ideas

I personally think the Zouave Uniform (bottom right) would add the proper touch of class to any formal occasion.
