Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has any info or maybe even stories for moving out. How did things go with your landlord and/or roommates? I'm on T and pass for the most part, I just don't have my name or marker changed yet. Any ideas? I might be needing to move out within a few months because things are getting volatile at my current location (not with my mum, luckily, but with our roomy/landlord).

Maybe I'm the only one, but I am confused about what you're asking.

Roommates can be a tricky thing, and those arrangements can end friendships. I think going with your own place, if you can afford it, is an opton with better long term results. As for stories, I think they all go something like this:

"....rent, blah, blah, electric bill, blah, blah, phone bill, blah, blah, ramen noodles......"

When I first moved in with my girlfriend I lived with 2 other roommates who did not know I was trans and at that time I did not have a gender marker and name change. The only thing was, I was not on the lease. I think when it comes to legal stuff like a lease, you can't get out of people knowing without a legal name/gender change because a lot of times all roommates sign the same lease and will probably see your name/gender marker.
