Hi good people.
Firstly, about me. I'm in my late 50's, Scottish and next year passionately hope that Scotland votes for its independence. I'm an atheist and interested in cosmology and sentience. By the time I was 5 years old I "knew" I was a girl and something had to be done, so a mere 40 years later I burst into action! After falling off the cliff of despair and guilt (married with children), just before my imaginary guts splattered, spilled and oozed and gushed all over the awaiting imaginary jagged rocks I thought, "This won't do." Anyway I went to my GP and told him I was a girlie and wanted magic pills. A mere 10 months later I got a phone call to say, "You have an appointment in 5 months time. That was followed by an appointment 3 months later then another 4 months later. My next one is in 3 months. I know they have to be careful but OYG!
I have already had a hair transplant, my nose  and my eyes reshaped.......and now I have no money.
What I'm hoping for is just a trickle of oestrogen to take away the turmoil and give my face a feminine touch: essence.

(Curtseys, exits stage left, trips, gets a bright red face.)

Hi Polly, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 10550  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hello and welcome from deepest, darkest Tasmania. There are a few of us here of "a certain age" so you are not marooned in a sea of teenagers by any means.    Post away sis.

Hi Polly

Welcome to the site here and I'm sure you will find lots of friends who will be very helpful and understanding.
I'm a Scot too and wear a kilt most days now.

If you ever want to exchange views on here with another Scot who is a friend then message me or post here.
Up with kilts! They are the best mens apparel ever. P.S The odd girl likes a man in one too)

Greetings Polly! Glad you were able come on by!

Scotland is a place I have always wanted to visit. One day I hope to. so if you see me skipping down the street, say hello! Then we can go to the bar, pub, saloon, etc.

See you around!
Just another girl screaming to be herself.

Good for you Polly. I'm glad that you have finally chosen to live the life you have always wanted - it takes a lot of courage.

Also, a fellow Scot. It's nice to know there's a few of us on here! If ever you need anything then don't hesitate to hit me up :)
