I'm young and struggling to find out my feelings . They started 3 years ago when I started being open about my homosexuality . I started noticing that more and more people were thinking I was a boy then a stud and it felt good . I hated how my boobs were finally growing . I got lucky with the period thing I only get it 5 times a year . I've always longed to walk around with my shirt off and impress girls . Last year I changed my name to Sunny and started telling my girlfriend that I wasn't comfortable with her calling me her "girlfriend" or "wifey" . I've been all over youtube and I've seen the blogs but I can't see myself being on T . I want top surgery though . I just have no idea where this is taking me or what my title in the LGBT club is . Please some one give me answers ?..

Hi Sunny, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 10660. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Well, I think that you should go as far as you want, and no farther. If you want to have top surgery, but don't want hormones, then you don't need to take hormones.

People tend to think that transition is necessarily a "complete" journey, where someone must get bottom and top surgery, and must take hormones, and meet x y and z requirements, but your transition - in reality - is just a set of measures that you want/need to take in order to feel comfortable with yourself, or your gender role, or your body, or whatever-else-have-you.

So, don't feel pressured to do more than you feel is necessary.

Let me start by saying that you're young and have plenty of time to find out where nature is taking you.  It is my opinion that high school-ers feel a sense of urgency that they needn't.  Although I'm certainly no shrink, from all that I've learned many young people right around your age feel a sense of ( frequently not AT ALL helped by the social experience of high school) heightened  anxiety about one thing or other.  So, first please sweetie, try to relax a little; time is in all likelihood on your side.

There is no immediate need to pinpoint exactly who and what you are.  From what you have said (even when I believed I was a guy I was uncomfortable with my shirt off) it is my opinion is that you are definitely transgender to some degree; and there are more than a few degrees--you should not worry about finding an exact fit.

As at least a step toward piecing the entire puzzle together, why not seek out a suitable and qualified professional of some sort.

You know, I think that it's possible you might even be able enjoy learning just who you are.  Why not?  You're young and have your whole life ahead of you.  You can be cautious as you need to be and it could still be a pleasant experience--or at least not an unpleasant one.

In any case I wish you best of luck.  Stay safe and take care.  *Hugs*.
