Hi everyone!
I identify as genderqueer/transmasculine, and have always wanted to get rid of these pesky boob things. After a looong time of saving up, I'm scheduled for surgery in a few months! However, I'm planning on not being totally flat, which my surgeon is fine with -- basically, I want to be flat enough that no boobs are evident when I am wearing a shirt, but have something like AA breasts (though it would still be my chest, since I'm masculine like that:) ). I don't plan on going on T ever, and without the post-T pectoral growth, that's what I would be the most comfortable with. I'm going with chest reconstruction rather than a breast reduction, though, since after talking to a number of surgeons I gathered that it would not be possible for me to go as far down as I would like to go without risking the nipple's blood supply, so it would be preferable to do a double incision graft procedure to both get the size outcome that I wanted, and give the nipples the best chance possible of sticking around.
I have some pictures of both AA chests and some post-surgery pictures that have good contouring that I have shown my surgeon. However, he said it could be helpful if I had some pics of people who had had chest reconstruction but opted for a somewhat larger chest. I've looked through transbucket, but have not been very successful -- do you guys have any pics on transbucket or otherwise that you could link me to, that would be along the lines of what I'm describing? I imagine this can't be super rare, as there are people who have a chest reconstruction without T, and genderqueer folks who essentially want a radical breast reduction?
Also, I'm planning on traveling a month after surgery, will I be healed enough to lift a suitcase and a small dog?
Sorry if it's a bit confusing, and I figured this was the best forum to post in since the majority of people who have considered chest reconstruction would see it here.
