Clothes you are uncomfortable with wearing?

So, this seems like a fun topic. What clothes are you uncomfortable with wearing? I won't lay out any rule sother than lease don't say male clothes. We all might not agree on everything but I think we agree that drab, functional, droll male clothes SUCK. Maybe not.

Colored skinny jeans.

I just can't rock them. And it's not like I don't like bright colors cause I do. And wear a lot of brightly colored tops and tees. Fun colored combos are definitely in. Well I think so. But no colored skinny jeans for me. You don't have to say just one. That's just me.

Lace and/or Ribbon on anything.  For some reason the stuff makes my skin crawl.

Frilly dresses. I feel like a toddler... Yuck!

Unfortunately, spaghetti straps, and pretty much anything sleevless. Because despite how much I would LOVE to wear them, my damned arms are still too big for them, and the back of my neck is probably my most masculine body part, so anything that reveals those two things is pretty much out of the question. Some day... some day, damn it! I swear it! I've been dying to wear those since I was like 12.

Well, at least I can wear jean shorts now. Those look awesome! So at least that's one half of the summer outfit that I always envied the most, even if I can't wear the top part yet.

Mini skirts... While I still have man legs anyway.

Good with just about anything else :).

Shapeless, loose fitting, oversized tops that drape and hang and cover up my curves and hide any cleavage and hide my waistline too.

I used to wear those a lot when I was androgynous in my presentation, because I could wear female clothes (helped with the dysphoria) while still allowing me to pass as male sort of.

Since I no longer need to pass as male, I am much happier with tops that show there's a woman underneath. Even though they also show that I'm well marbled in my flank steaks.

I gave almost all of my old tops to my cisgender wife, who can pull off wearing them and still look beautifully feminine.

Same! I wear them at home and it just feels so comfortable but my arms are quite large and I just think, huh, that doesn't work!
I also love a nice dress but still getting used to skirts. Whether I can pull it off or not, I'm still getting used to them but strangely dresses just fit so well!

My mom has a habit of giving me stuff like this during christmas, and while I do find a big loose sweat a comfort item, I as well cant stand this type of tops either. on a positive note I almost am ready for a yard sale  ::)

I only dress around the house, and when I'll put on a pair of women's jeans and a top when I'm on my way to therapy.   But pretty much everything that's sold in the fashion stores at the mall is off limits for me.  Especially dresses and strap tops since they just look outrageously bad on me.

Good thing it's summer because it's time for shorts, simple tops or tees, and flat sandals.

Dresses and skirts. Most everything else is fine, although I'm a little iffy on shorts too since my legs look more appropriate for a chicken than a person. I'm most comfortable in casual clothing, jeans or nice pants with a nice top, but nothing low cut.

Boatneck anything...just not proportioned well as much as I like the style.

Black: Because it drowns out my hair

Anything frilly

Tight skirts. I have great legs but my hips aren't shaped right for them. I love loose skirts and get lots of attention in those.

Short shirts. I usually put on an undershirt if they don't come down low enough. I got my moms torso which is kinda wide up top so they don't look right at all.

To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

I don't think I could wear a dress and I'm not even going to try because I'm not so inclined. I'm short, and though fit I am top heavy, a former football fullback. I do like my skinny jeans, own six pairs now, love tight fitting Victoria's Secret tops, have several colors of long sleeved T's both in crew neck and V-neck over either an underwire or soft bra depending on time and place. Finally got over self-consciousness about boobs showing.  :)

Bikini.  I just can not wear one.  I am too chubby.

For me, being larger, plus-sized (okay, fat) tight clothing and tailored stuff is out. A couple of women have criticized me for wearing clothing  up to a couple of sizes bigger but I find it works usually in my favour plus I can get away with being femme and passing. (There's no inbetween for me, I pass better at high femme or soft butch but prefer the casual look inbetween).

Anything with lace, frills or ribbons. Some people are grammar nazis. I'm a simplicity nazi.

Hosiery - tights, stockings, etc. It's not that I'm uncomfortable wearing them per se, on general principle. It's just that I have problems buying them, sizes appear to be completely random, and you can end up with anything between a pair which comes right up to your bust or which barely covers your bahookie.

I think that's the worst, because there's nothing worse than walking along the street somewhere and feeling that your underwear is slowly creeping down over your thighs in the general direction of your feet.

I havent worn jeans or pants once since I went full time some 5 months ago. Makes me feel rather shapeless and I learnt quick what works with my body shape, gathered skirts to exentuate my hips.
oh and a swim suit Hell No! ha

I am really uncomfortable wearing womens slacks or trousers as I dont yet have a rounded bottom or hips, although my upper thighs are increasing a little. Plus although I would love to wear a bikini, my tummy looks aweful so it only a one piece for me.

Luckily my bust is starting to look good  as I am already a 20 B Cup, so I like to wear tops that accentuate the bust and fall from the bust line, so no tight fitting tops. I also love to wear dresses and skirts. My favourites are  my A line dresses. I have a whole wardrobe of sleeveless dresses with some that accentuate my growing bust, but with the high gathered waist.

I love maxi dresses too, but being only 5'7"  really need heels to wear them.

I woulsd love to wear skinny jeans, but I until I get more of a rounded bottom I dont think I could pull it off.

Although my legs are not too bad, since an operation I have to wear pantihose, to hide a scar on one, but I do try to go for a 5 or 7 denier sheer, and I love openm toe pantihose.

Black or White though is not a  good colour for me  as I am very fair skinned, unless its teamed with other items

So I am definitly a femme, as i want to present as feminine as possible.

I do have a couple of long coloured (pink/Red/Orange) tops that I wear with black leggings only and thats works well for me.

When I fully transitioned before, I gave all of my male clothese away to the Charity shop, except one pair of jeans, but then a Cis gendered girlfriend insisted on shredding them, so that I would not be tempted to slip back, as I then only had skirts and dresses. It was a good measure.

For shoes I love wearing heels, but these days I am mostly using Wedges that give me the stability (just a lack of practice), but my changing shape as I get the womanly curves from the HRT (4.5mths now with very low T) is helping, but I need to lose about 12 kilos from my tummy, and wearing my sexy corset is starting to strangely give me a natural sway when walking (Its easier to sway the hips than not). My deportment coach says the posture from the corset and heels are all helping.
