I have been with my FTM partner for 18 years now, and we have just embarked on the T journey.  (Please note, I am just the significant other, my partner is the brave one  >:-) )  I see my transman is experiencing  some confusing moodswings, and we are a little scratchy with each other.  Is this a normal effect of starting T?  If so, how long does it last?  And how do I best support him through this?  Any comments will be welcomed.

As far as I know - having been on Testogel and now on Sustanon - testosterone may cause mood changes. Says so in the paper that comes along. After all, starting T is like going through another puberty and mood swings tend to come with the territory.

I'd say the time it lasts is completely dependent on the individual. We're all different in the end. Things should calm down sooner or later, though. So to speak, heh. :)

Hehe... Of course I was looking forward to the increased libido, but I will continue holding my breath on that one  :P

^ Unless we're talking about an asexual (which I somehow doubt), it should happen sooner or later. :D It took me a bit over two weeks to get to... that.
