Much of my beard turned white so I looked into using laser with the hair dye that is supposed to darken hair deep into the roots. I found a lot of individuals that said it worked well, and others that complained it was just a method to make it possible to temporarily remove very light, or white hair. Yes, it does permanentely remove some of the blond or white target hairs, but the numbers by percent were too small for me to even consider. But if you want is a smooth face for a few weeks at a time as the laser does it's thing, I guess it's great. In my case I need something absolutely complete and permanent, so I dropped the idea.
I finally settled on electrolysis after visiting my current electrologist. She transitioned several years ago and saw a need for a transgender electrologist in this part of California, and one who understood the needs of girls like herself. So she took the oportunity and went to school to fill the void. She's now successful, uses very good high energy equipment (operates at 27MHz) and has a couple clients that travel up to 100 miles to see her. She's more expensive, but the machine she has is faster, and hurts a lot less than other equipment.
You should make an appointment with an electrologist who's trans freindly, or even better, someone who has transitioned. It won't cost a cent to have that initial consultation, and it's an hour and a half of insight that you may not get from reading reviews or watching youtube. Anyway, it can't hurt.
Take care.
