Arizona state Rep. John Kavanagh, author of what one TV station dubbed the "Show Me Your Papers Before You Go Potty" bill, was interviewed by Michelangelo Signorile on his SiriusXM OutQ radio program Tuesday and admitted that the bill is indeed aimed at prosecuting transgender people for using a public restroom if their gender appearance didn't match the gender on their identification - but "only with respect to public accommodations where there is an expectation of privacy."
