Speaking personally, I cannot imagine how someone who was not trans* would ever be able to understand just how wonderful it is to be Rosie. Does anyone else feel the same (though without the Rosie bit - it's my brain Godsloveit get out!).

This isn't going to fit your question real well, but I'll try my best. 

Am I supposed to have a wonderful feeling about being Kathy?  I know it'll feel great when I go full time, but for now I just feel good each time I go out after adding one more thing to my appearance.  This mostly happens when I go to my new group after trying on a few things before leaving home.  Then I just go for it with a top, or shoes. or .....    I know my family can't understands why doing this makes me feel good, but it makes me feel more like myself (yes that grand old lady named Kathy).    So maybe that kinda fits your question.  And if I'm off base, ignore me.

Kathy, you understood my question perfectly and that thing with the shoes is precisely what I mean.

I went full time about two weeks back and had just had one of those moments where you look in the mirror,  breathe a HUGE sigh of relief and are slightly euphoric about not having to do the boy thing anymore.

Rosie, we all understand. That's great news for you & a nice step forward. Now that the hard part is behind you just try & relax, maybe find a few new friends as Rosie, maybe women friends, women love to talk fashion, go shopping, gossip, cook, etc.. Just all the things that are normal.

I always enjoyed nice women/girlfriends to share & help life go along. We all need help in life.

O.K.   Got it right!  Yay.   

But better yet. group therapy was today.  And for the first time I went fully dressed.  After taking a shower I just kept adding to what I was wearing and it all finally fit together.  Didn't plan on it, but it just turned out that way.  And it felt good.  Didn't even worry about walking out of the house to get in the car, or stopping at the gas station to fill up.
