I recently purchased my first pair of heels, so I decided to spring clean my room in them. Sadly my feet begin to hurt and it sounded like my mom was coming up stairs so it was short lived, but still I love em.

P.S I had to include an external link because I'm not sure how to upload pictures here or even if it's allow.

Try using ball of the foot cushions, they stop a lot of the pain, wear them regularly for short periods to break them in. Don't break your neck or anything else falling over in them!

Baby steps my ass, I say go for it. There's time to be practical later.

Def! So many shoes, so little time!

Just practice even standing, it is only practice. More you practice easier it gets. I'm happy driving a manual car in heels now. Scares the bejasus out of the BF though

I'm slowly getting better with them. It's almost impossible not to walk sexy in those things.

Honey that is the whole idea :-* Long legs and sexy swing. Drives guys nuts. Wait for your first high-heel boots and skin tight jeans, or short skirt, you can feel the guys sweating and salivating >:-) -sorry-

Boots do things to guys for some reason. >:-)

Friend who owns a Bridal boutique has a lot of high school students in for gowns form their Formal, and she tells them to just stride as if they are wearing tennis shoes.  In other words don't consciously try walking in heels, just walk.  If you try and think about it you come to grief.

You have slender leggs. I think you have better start with lower heels (2-3 inch). Legs look most beautiful with 2.5-3 inch heels.

Just do it.

You figure it out fast.  My first and only set of heels are a pair of 4" black pumps.  First couple of times I wore them it was awkward but is much easier after that.  Gotta love Zappos, all sorts of shoes in our size!

That's funny, poor girl will fall & break her leg.

The more you wear them the more comfortable you will get in them. At first it's uncomfortable but later on not as much.

I went out one night with some friends wearing the 4" heels you see in my avatar, and I walked several blocks in them that night. The next day my feet were a little sore, but not too bad, and i didn't fall down.

I look at it as a "on the job" learning experience - and i certainly learned!

Definitely you train into them....
I found a really good pair was more comfortable than
Runners.....but I walked a lot in spikes

It's funny because the morning after I took those picture I rolled my ankle playing basketball. lol Another reason to just stand there and look pretty
