Name Change Indiana

Hello,

I was wanting to get more information about name change for Indiana if anyone knows. I like to know exactly what to expect before hand on things so I was hoping someone else could walk me through.

So far I have gone to the courthouse filed the paperwork, set up a hearing date, paid the court costs, and now I need to run the ad in the paper for three weeks.

My hearing isn't until September(I work out of state all summer) and I just want to know more like what to expect when I meet with the judge etc.

Thanks for the wiki post, I had read that already, was posting more to get real feedback vs reading about a process, but thanks!

The court costs were $139 and then whatever the paper charges to run the notice, the paper was closed today so I will have to go back. But I have until August for the last notice to run so no worries there.
