I guess to put a genre to it, I am mostly into deep house - but with the largest influence placed upon groove and clarity of sound. My guess why I landed on this area of EDM is: probably due to all the years of jazz training. Also I haven't produced a track in its entirety yet so I've nothing to show for myself musically at the moment, but I'm working on it! I'm hoping in a few months to be able to inject some female vocals, too

Please, please, PLEASE post results of your work!  EMD of all sorts is running in my veins and I'd most certainly welcome a solid House groove.  I was never much good at making anything myself but my ears are always hungry for it.

That is *soo* weird. I keep running into that number. This is literally the 10th time (literally, I've counted, and this makes 10) in a small amount of time. I'm going to choose to either take it as a good sign and say it means I am slowly leaving my demons behind me (that's a nice spin!) or say it's just total coincidence and confirmation bias (most likely this). We'll choose NOT to believe it's signaling a slow and agonizing death
