Penny, I'll totally let you know if I'm ever in your neck of the woods.  I've been modeling for a few different people of late, as well as my own top secret project, and I'm really enjoying it.
As for the being single part, I aim to enjoy it.  While dating prospects are turning out to be pretty darn good but I intend to keep everything very casual for this next year until I feel like I've really had time to find myself!

Jenny, I live about 40 miles outside of West Hollywood, and go through it when I go to see my brother at Cedar Sinai Hospital. If I would have known about a trans pride day I would have gone, but I'm not connected out here in Ventura County. you look absolutely fantastic! How could anyone from five years ago recognize you? From one year ago? I'm just like you in that I still get really happy when people don't recognize the old me at all. Each time is just one more confirmation I did the right thing in transitioning. I've never looked back at my old existence as anything other than misery and I doubt if your past is much different. Not when a beautiful young woman was inside the shell of a male impersonator, begging to be let out. You're simply gorgeous, Jen! And congratulations on your job! Mira

And you're absolutely right about the confirmation. It is the best form of it, I think.

Luckily my previous life wasn't a miserable one at all though, but I am SO much happier now that I am free to completely express my inner self without fear or shame I have no regrets- even of being born a male and getting to experience this wonderful and eye opening process. That is pretty much how I've felt about my transition since day one. Optimism has always been something I've held very close to my soul.

Sure there have been days littered with self consciousness and worries about passing early on ... but since I started transitioning, I've always been happy to simply witness firsthand how truly unexpected life can be. And having the chance to show the people in my life that really/truly/honestly anything is possible is one of my fondest aspects of being transgendered (among others).

Confirmation on making the right choice is definitely essential though, and I think that's where having supportive people in your life make such a huge difference. I have truly been blessed with the people I've gravitated towards, and I feel the same way about a lot of the people here.

Rowan, Yes. My tummy is always my top priority in my appearance. For example, yesterday I ran about 12 km (7.5 mile) along a steep course near my home. I will run again before flying to the mainland to decrease my girth a little bit more.

Donna, your eyes are absolutely extraordinary - they just draw the viewer in.  And those lips...seriously?  If you saw a photo of me, you'd realize just how beautiful you are.  I spent the entire afternoon putting on makeup, clothes, and parading around in front of mirrors, and I have not one photo that I would even dare share with anyone.  If I looked even half as wonderful as you, I'd be bragging and posting my photos all over the board for everyone to see.

Because I realized that it was full of beautiful women who all had zero self-confidence and constantly posted about how ugly they were, and I was afraid that it was rubbing off on me. And you were #1 on my list of such women.

Keaira, you look pretty damn cute to me here!!! Don't worry if nobody says something every time! It's happened to me too, and unlike some other ladies I didn't have the guts to say anything about it. Now I'm not going to worry about it. I'm sure there are other girls out there who've gone without comments too. Keaira, you're another one that I think people don't comment on because you just look like a completely normal woman. I think that's the case a lot, is that those who look more "normal" get skimmed over.

And just let me say, you look gorgeous! You're a fantastic example of what we can all hope to aspire to be after several years on hormones, and I personally consider you a big inspiration because being female seems to come so naturally to you. I hope I can look as feminine as you do some day. You look fantastic, and in every single picture it just seems like you're absolutely loving life.
