OK - So, we have pain.  When does it stop??  If I'm not supported, I hurt just running up and down stairs.

This my second time transitioning...I barely recall
The tenderness the first time....and I dont recall it being
An issue for ever....
Might be only during growth spurts...

That feeling when you forget about your boobs and trip into a corner...

Or when the cats think you're growing boobs just for them to use as pillows <.<

In fairness to the cats, I hear guys are much the same way. Only not as fuzzy, and they don't purr >_>
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

If the pain/itching is related to growth, I've found that it precedes a growing stage. Sometimes they hurt during the growth, but never after.

Breasts which are growing seem to go in stages...a week or two itchy/sore, then that dies out for about a week, week and a half...then there's nothing for 3 weeks...then the itching comes back.

Not all growth is visible, some is internal ductwork, glands enlarging, etc. I do give myself gentle massages and pressure, using mainly the palms of the hands or the pads of the fingers (for more precise locations).

Also, you can take a soaking bath and place warm washclothes over them to soothe the aching...
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Guys also don't have claws, nor do they "knead" the breasts pillows before laying down... :-X

._. I try to forget about the claws. The cats generally like me and are gentle and playful, but sometimes they get pissed and I think they know I'm going through a transition because they can apply pleasure to boobs and  junk at the same time.

Then they just look at me like "Move. I dare you. Feel that? Claws. I'm not going anywhere."

I experienced minor pain at first.  Easy how you sleep.  Keep off of the belly.  I accidently rolled on one breast once and it leaked and stained the sheet in the middle of the night.

My breasts have been hurting pretty consistently these past 6 months. Been on hrt now for about a year and 1 month. I'm at a full A cup now. The pain can hurt a lot sometimes but overall its not too bad. Kind of feels like someone is pinching them lol. I'm hoping I reach a full b sometime in the next two years.

try not to worry - 6 months now, and i got breast development started after 2 weeks on 'moans. Started with a dull, heavy sort of feeling, then like something was pushing out behind the nipples, and then more a general soreness. It's not really PAIN unless someone punches you there (happened to me) and then you want to rip someone's head off......it's more a feeling of your breasts letting you know they're there :)

The pain really isn't that big a deal until I at have to lift a box against my chest AHHHHHRRRGGG!
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

That's what gets me - pressure against my chest. Other than that, it's actually kind of a nice feeling....like "hello girls, i know you're there" lol!! Holding anything heavy against my chest, not good at all......and I have to carry 60-80lb computer servers around :(

I definitely noticed a lot more soreness when I was doing the breast massage thing, but then I noticed I was actually flexing my biceps and triceps a lot which is why I stopped :P

Hopefully I can find someone to do it for me... I think I have someone in mind :D

I don't really mind the soreness, bras with a little bit of padding offer all the protection I could ask for- and they look great too! I probably won't ever be any more than a B cup though- so even though stairs can hurt a little on a bra-less day, it's more just an affirmation and makes me happy!

Hah, you beat me to it, that's my line. You're so predictable Jamie!  ;D

Finally got a bra that works with V neck T's (in my link below) I hear a lot of BS about breast size, mine are big A small B and the genetic females in my family are all super endowed, so all that stuff about genetics is moot. I have news for the girls here, the short phase for breast development for pubescent girls doesn't in any way apply to MtF transitioners as it comes in occasional spurts and continues off and on for years depending on if hormone receptors are even receptive, because sometimes they are not and are influenced by environmental considerations like soap, moisturizers, makeup etc.
