Not trying to scare you but make sure your friend or whoever else is going to give you the shot back there knows what they're doing. If you hit the sciatic nerve it's going to let you know it.

Thanks for the info. He has been doing all of the trans kids' shot for a few years now and was first taught to do so by a doctor, so I'm not too too worried about it.
