Hey guys, I'm new to the boards I only posted a few times last night. As I mentioned before my name is Jerred, I'm FTM, and right now baby steps is my plan. I already wear men clothing, and I've been identifying myself by my male name more and more the past few days as I come out to my friends, and all you good people.

Today I'm making a few more steps. I started a youtube channel, as a way to keep like a video log of everything happening for me and to me. I'm not on T just yet, I have to time things just right before I can make a physical transition. But today I'm going out for a hair cut, I needed one anyways I am getting shaggy, but the new deal with that is I will be getting chopped shorter than I usually do. Also I plan to get some boxer shorts today, up to this point I've just kinda worn whatever but I'm done with that. I want to be comfortable and not feel like I have to wear girl underwear because it's the "normal thing to do". Also I'm looking into getting a chest binder, but not sure where to find a good one for a decent price.

I dunno, I felt like sharing this stuff. It's all new for me, and I'm excited for these small steps I'm taking, and I'm also nervous. Nervous because there is still a long list of people I need to come out to. But for now I'm in a good place, I have a lot of close friends who have been super awesome about my coming out. They have agreed to stop using my female name, and use male pronouns, and I have to say I'm already feeling a world better about this.

If there's other tips for my current process of "baby steps" let me know. I'm open for all kinds of feedback at this point.

Thank you. I'm happy about the steps I've been taking. It's been a process so far, just getting everything... worked out lol

I'll keep making steps as I go along

Congrats, man. I actually did the same sequence when I started coming out a little over a month ago. Great minds think alike, eh? I also dug out my old set of clippers to keep my hair short so it doesn't give me away too easily. I can't really say about a binder since I don't use one, but finally throwing my grody old socks away and getting a cheap packer was the biggest step for me. It really grows on you. (No pun intended.)

lol at the grows on you thing.

Speaking of socks it makes me feel ironic that the other night I had to make a late night run to target cause... for some reason my socks always end up slowly vanishing until there is just one left. Target here sucks for socks apparently I had to get these girl ones that have pink on them and I was like uhg.

And I'm happy with my new haircut too, it's actually quite comfy lol. I have thick hair and it usually feel like a mop on my head ha. But it's pretty darned short now so it's a nice change.

The only thing I ever used socks for since middle school was attempting to pack. I had a pair of hiking socks for gym and that's it. I used to get asked what I did with them since they never went through the wash and had to waste a few making dog toys so they'd leave me alone.

I loved getting my hair chopped off. It was almost two feet long this time and I asked them to get it down to an inch or so. The old lady who was getting her hair colored next to me looked appalled.  ;D

rofl. I was fortunate not to have anyone give me weird looks. I literally went from fluffy to freaking short. Like hair up over my ears and down to my neck line short.

I've been thinking on the packer stuff, but considering I haven't told my mom just yet... I'mma hold on that lol

Envious :)

A female formed person going from panties to boxers, well there is no real hassle of what's in them :) Remember, some guys simply don't have fire hoses :)

A male formed person going from briefs to panties, weeeeeell it's not so easy. If nature gave your slightly average gear, well slightly average is 5-6 inches long when amused, and there is the supply room. Dormant the gear is simply impossible to conceal. And anything that makes that gear even remotely uncomfortable is very problematic.

But what is really problematic, is when the thing wakes up. Because average gear in an amused condition, is more than panties were ever meant to hold. And if you think you can wear sexy panties with even dormant gear :)

My only real expectation where panties are concerned, is the gear can't poke though an opening that isn't there being a start, the elastic is likely better made, and they are likely not as over all bulky in nature. Probably going to cost twice what I pay now though.

But I hope you enjoy the freedom :)
Well being TG is no treat, but becoming separated has sure caused me more trouble that being TG ever will be. So if I post, consider it me trying to distract myself from being lonely, not my needing to discuss being TG. I don't want to be separated a lot more than not wanting to be male looking.

I don't envy you.  ;D

I can see where the problem would be. Since baggy clothes aren't exactly flattering, it would make it really difficult to conceal. My only experience was when I used to try to use really tight panties to keep my packer in place but... between it doing the Macarena and trying to make a run for it down my leg, I just butchered a few pairs for waistbands to restrain it. I'm done.
