A few months after we met, my bf started calling me crabby because he had been watching Spongebob with his nephew.  Thinking he would grow bored with it after I while, I let it go.  Five years later, he still calls me crabby or some variant thereof.

Not a significant other, but my son used to call me "tractor."

I used to have a really girly one my family would call me constantly. I started nicknaming everyone else in revenge and mine's long since disappeared.  ;D
I did my waiting! Twelve years of it! In [my head!] Azkaban!

Tossu-sama

A beloved child has many names, as the proverb goes.
I seem to have very little pet names, though.

Some call me Late which is a common pet name from my real name but the most common one is Tossu, even in real life. My online name is just that catchy.
My fiancé uses mostly the common ones, like honey and whatnot.

I have more humorous nicknames than pet names.

My boyfriend is "silly goose" or more recently "cutie" to me, don't know how either of those stuck. Not even going to share the embarrassing pet names some people have for me XD

I never had a significant other (*insert forever alone face here*) so I have taken up the liberty to give myself a pet name. It lovingly became 'Idiot'. It suits me well, I swear!

I get called "Dicey" by my girlfriend sometimes because she swears I look like a guy of a TV program here (Skins) who used to carry a die around with him everywhere and throw it to decide what random thing he was going to do next.  Oddly enough the character's name as also Alex.  I can sort of see the similarity:

my mom called me peanut for the longest time. when i began transitioning she had trouble calling me parker so she dropped my birth name and exclusively called me peanut for a month before using parker. now my girlfriend has no pet names for me nor me for her. i like my name the only name people call me is my last name, a famous barbers name, peter parker, and parkour. if anyone can guess that famous barber ill be surprised. it also might help to know that all my friends are theater kids.

Seems like your my used "Peanut" as a transition name. It could be worse (or LOTS better, haha).  It's another subject about transition names. But I have one that is useful to me.

My uncle calls me Peanut to this day, but I don't see him much. Forgot about that one.

Natkat

beside rideculouse pronoucings of my name I dont have many pet names.

one of my friend calls me Donkey,
another one calls me something I guess would be translated to "fuzzy/fluffy"
and a guy from my old school used to call me soprano, cause I could sing very high.

thats what I can think of.

Sly

This one guy decided I reminded him of a bird, so I became Slybird.

Then sometimes he'd change it to something else like Slynerd or Slyturd.

It was cute.

Clockpunk

My entire family calls me peanut, an ironically it was my step fathers nickname growing up. :P

I also tend to get Bear a lot 'cause of my natural 'snuggliness.' Apparently I'm inevitably snuggly Lol. Weee...

Then theres mini-me... I hate that one D: Bet you can guess why lol.
I'm shy, and rarely reply, but give me time and I'll eventually open up to Susan's ^u^
