Just a question for girls who went to Dr. Mcginn?

I'm having surgery with Dr. Mcginn on the 22nd, and the ONLY thing I'm worried about is the possibility of having to strip in front of anyone at the hospital... I imagine and hope I'll just be wearing the gown until I'm out from the anesthesia and then they'll do the surgery and it will be over after that. That's literally the only anxiety I have, can anyone tell me their experience regarding this?

There is this thing we in the medical professions call "privacy." You'll do fine. (good luck with the surgery result)
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.

You won't have to strip in front of anyone. When you are admitted, they leave you alone in a room with a curtain, just in case someone walked in. Then you are in a private room in the hospital, so there is no one there unless you have a friend, family member, or nurse checking on you.

I personally despise hospital gowns. Can't they come up with something warmer, better fitting, oh and maybe just a teensy bit more stylish. Velcro perhaps? C'mon people!

Good luck with your surgery. If you get Kathy, Charlotte, or Susan as your nurse, tell them Jenn from Miami says hi! You'll be in excellent hands.

That's good to know, yeah what i'm more concerned about is pre-surgery...I won't be laying there naked before surgery, right..? I'll be wearing the gown all the way into the operating room, right?

Yep. You keep the gown on at all times... Even during surgery. Your legs are put in stirrups like at the gynecologist and they just slide up the gown. There will be several people present in the OR... but they are professionals and have seen it all before. The good thing is that the surgery goes by super quick. You're in and then out.

Dr. Christine McGinn is one of the highest regarded surgeons in her field and one of my top choices should my day ever come  :)  I'm sure you'll be fine and quite happy with the results  :)
