I get a piece of paper and less than an hour later I'll inject my first dose of T.

My brain is exploding. Today was my first visit with Dr Torrence at Howard Brown and the complete acceptance from him and the office staff was just amazing. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it. It's amazing to me that for years I was told that it'd be really difficult to jump through the hoops to start transition and I accepted that. After finding out about Informed Consent all it took was a few weeks of waiting for my first appointment and signing papers.

I'm incredibly excited about my appointment on April 25th. Since I travel 3 hours from Grand Rapids to Chicago I made both the Advocate and the 'prescription' appointments on the same day.

The thing I'm super duper 'OMG I can barely contain myself' excited about? Getting my sex drive back. I'm sure once that kicks in I'll get impatient for my voice to change.
